Ceropegia 'String of Hearts'
Ceropegia woodii, commonly known as String of Hearts, is a trailing plant species in the genus Ceropegia. It is native to South Africa and is a popular houseplant due to its unique, heart-shaped leaves and delicate vines. The leaves are small and grow in pairs along the thin, wiry stems that can reach up to several feet in length. The leaves are green and have a subtle silver or gray variegation. In the right conditions, the plant may produce small, tubular flowers that are a pinkish-purple color. Ceropegia woodii prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. It is a relatively low-maintenance plant that is easy to propagate by taking cuttings of the vines. It can add a lovely touch of delicate beauty to any indoor space.
