Selaginella Frosty
Selaginella Frosty is a small evergreen plant that belongs to the family Selaginellaceae. It is also known as the frosty clubmoss or frosty spikemoss. The plant is native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia and features delicate, lacy foliage that is light green in color with a frosty appearance, hence its name. The leaves are arranged in a whorled pattern along the stem and are about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length. Selaginella Frosty typically grows to be about 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm) in height and spreads outwards in a low, creeping habit. It prefers to grow in bright, indirect light and moist, well-draining soil. Selaginella Frosty is a great addition to a terrarium or as a ground cover in a shaded outdoor garden. It is easy to grow and care for and can be propagated through spores or stem cuttings.
